Credit applications list

The supplier credit desk at /applications: what waits for you, late references, the decided count, the oldest waiting, and the list with status tabs, filters, sortable columns and a bulk reminder.

/applications is the credit team's work queue. The page calls GET /v1/supplier/applications and renders what comes back.

Who can use it#

  • Vendor-side roles (ORG_ADMIN, CREDIT_MANAGER, SALES_MANAGER, ACCOUNT_ADMIN, VENDOR_USER) that belong to an organization and hold the applications.view permission.
  • A customer (APPLICANT) is redirected to /contractor/dashboard.
  • A vendor user without applications.view, or without an organization, sees an "Access denied" message. Ask the organization administrator to change permissions (see Team and permissions).

What you see#

The page is titled Applications. The blocks at the top depend on what the person can do (a permission key, never a role name), so two roles with the same permissions see the same desk:

  • Can decide (applications.decide): a strip with Waiting for you (submitted, no decision yet; links to the Submitted tab), Late references (pending references on open applications with no send or reminder for 3 days; links to the references list), Decided this month (approved or declined since the first of the month, UTC) and Approved credit (sum and number of accounts). Then Oldest waiting: the five open applications that have waited longest, each with how long ago it was submitted, references answered, requested limit and requested payment terms in days, and a Review button; Review oldest opens the first. The pipeline, filters and table follow. At the bottom, while setup is incomplete, the Finish setting up card; for people who can edit the team (users.edit) a Team line (active, invited, awaiting approval) with a link to Settings, Team.
  • Cannot decide (for example a salesman or an account admin): Finish setting up comes first (it hides itself when done), then the strip In progress (submitted or in review), Late references, Not finished (drafts) and Decided this month, and Oldest in progress with an Open button. Nothing offers a decision they cannot make.
  • There is deliberately no average time to decide: it reads as a score for credit managers.
  • Status tabs with counts per status. The counts ignore the current filter.
  • Status tabs: All, Submitted, In review, Approved, Declined, Draft.
  • On screens 1100px and wider the table keeps its place and the selected row shows in a summary panel beside it (code, contact, status, requested and approved limit, terms, references, waiting, Open file). Click a row or move with the arrow keys to change it; Enter or double click opens the file. Below 1100px a click opens the file.
  • A filter bar that mirrors the URL: search over code, legal name and contact (first 80 characters used), Payment terms (Net 30, 60 or 90: the requested or approved terms equal it) and References (Late: no reply in 3 days on an open application; Waiting for a reply; None requested), with the result count and Clear filters. Terms are days; a value outside 30, 60 and 90 is ignored.
  • An Agreement column on approved applications for roles with signatures.view: where the credit agreement stands (Agreement not sent, Waiting for customer signature, Waiting for your countersignature, Signed, and the exceptions Needs review, Declined, Link expired, Could not be sent, Voided). It is a chip, not a sort or filter. Hidden on narrow screens; the preview beside the list shows it too.
  • Sort: click a column header (Applicant, Status, Requested, Approved, Terms, Waiting); the choice is ?sort=requested:desc and the services order the whole list, not just the page. "Waiting" sorts longest wait first. Default is most recent. The old ?sort=stalest-submitted and ?sort=amount-desc still work.
  • Comfortable rows or Compact rows (a toggle). Below 640px each row is a two-line card: applicant, status, terms, requested limit and how long it has waited.
  • Selection (x or Space on a row, or the checkboxes) for a role that holds references.remind: Remind references on N applications asks once, then reminds every reference that has not answered on those applications. Nothing here records a decision.
  • Reference progress and payment terms per row (the approved terms for an approved application, otherwise the requested terms; Net 30, Net 60 or Net 90); a row opens the application (Enter, or click).
  • All filters live in the URL (status, terms, refs, sort, q, page), so a view can be bookmarked.

States#

An empty queue shows what is missing and the one action that fixes it: Invite a customer, Show QR code and, for users who can edit the form, Edit the form, with the three steps to a first application. These link to the Application form page. Setup comes first while there are no applications.

Test ids: desk-waiting, desk-late-refs, desk-decided, desk-approved, desk-drafts, desk-oldest, desk-oldest-row, desk-team, applications-table (wraps the grid; its rows are grid-row, each with a status-chip carrying data-status), status-tabs, status-tab-<status>, first-steps.
