Signing a document
How a person signs or declines a credit agreement or personal guaranty through a private emailed link, without an account.
A signer receives an email with a private link to /sign/<token>. The token is the only credential: it is single use per signer, stored only as a hash, and closes after 30 days.
What the page does#
- Shows the document to review, the consent text and the signer's name.
- The signer types their name and draws a signature, then confirms. The request is signed once; a second attempt is refused.
- The signer can instead decline, after a second confirmation. Declining ends the whole request.
- An unknown link shows "not found"; an expired or already used link says so and names the supplier to contact.
