Post-login routing

The /post-login page that decides where a signed-in person goes next, by role and organization.

/post-login shows a loading shell and then redirects in the browser, based on GET /v1/session/post-login (optionally with next). If it takes about three seconds the page offers a manual link.

Decision order#

  1. A customer (APPLICANT) with no organization and who is not staff goes to /onboarding.
  2. Otherwise a safe next path (starts with a single /, no backslash) wins.
  3. Otherwise the role decides:
RoleLands on
APPLICANT/contractor/dashboard
REFERENCE (legacy accounts)/reference-portal
PLATFORM_ADMIN, PLATFORM_SUPER_ADMIN/platform
every vendor-side role (ORG_ADMIN, CREDIT_MANAGER, SALES_MANAGER, ACCOUNT_ADMIN, VENDOR_USER, ADMIN) and legacy marketplace roles/applications

A user with no role gets "no_role" and is sent back to /login.
